When you've completed your ticket purchase on the trainline, we will send you two emails:
1. The first email is a booking confirmation and will arrive immediately after your transaction is complete. This email is NOT your ticket and will NOT be valid for travel purposes.
2. The second email will arrive approximately two hours after making your booking. This email will contain a link which will allow you to download and then print your ticket.
Open this email from a computer you wish to print from. Click on the 'Download & Print' link in the email to open the ticket in your web browser, where you can then print your ticket.
Note: You can also download your ticket (2 hours after booking) by visiting your Business Account and visiting the "My Account" section.
It is also worth checking your email's SPAM folder in case the ticket has been delivered there.
In some cases, the ticket can take a short time to load.
Note: The ticket will open as a 'pdf' file type, most up-to-date web browsers can open these such files. If yours can't, you will most likely be offered with the opportunity to install the appropriate software. The most common 'pdf' file type software is called Adobe.
Important: You will need to bring one of the accepted forms of ID (Credit or Debit Card, National Railcard, Passport or Driving License) with you when you travel. The form of ID you choose must have your name as shown on your print your own ticket.
