Mobile Tickets and etickets are two of our ticket delivery options. They’re slightly different, but they both mean you can open your ticket on your phone. etickets are a bit more usable as you don't need our app to use them on your phone, and unlike with Mobile tickets you have the option to print a paper copy.

We’re working hard to make Mobile Tickets available to everyone, but at the moment it’s only selected routes and Train Operating Companies (TOCs) that accept them. When you search for your journey in our app, we’ll always highlight our Mobile Ticket option to you if it’s available.
Here’s a rough guide to help you know if Mobile Tickets are available to you –
CrossCountry Trains - All ticket types on all routes
East Midlands Railway - Advance tickets on all routes. Anytime, Off-Peak and Super Off-Peak tickets on all routes, except routes to/from Luton Airport Parkway, Luton and Bedford
First TransPennine Express - All ticket types on all routes
Gatwick Express - Anytime and Off-Peak tickets between Victoria and Gatwick Airport
Great Northern - Anytime and Off-Peak tickets on all routes
Great Western Railway - All ticket types on selected routes
Greater Anglia - Advance tickets on all routes. Anytime, Off-Peak and Super Off-Peak tickets on all routes, except routes to/from TfL-operated stations (Hackney Downs, Seven Sisters, Edmonton Green, Stratford, Gidea Park, Harold Wood and Brentwood)
Heathrow Express - All ticket types on all routes
Hull Trains - All ticket types on all routes
London North Eastern Railway - All ticket types on all routes
London Northwestern Railway - All ticket types on all routes
Northern - All ticket types on all routes
Thameslink - Anytime and Off-Peak tickets on selected routes of London
Transport for Wales - All ticket types on all routes
Virgin Trains West Coast - All ticket types on all routes
West Midlands - All ticket types on all routes
If your TOC isn’t listed, Mobile Tickets probably aren’t available yet. But, if Mobile Tickets are available for your route, we’ll let you know when you’re booking
