This applies to all trainline for business accounts who have either signed for an account since August 2016 or had their account recently upgraded to a new dashboard.
We've rolled out a few updates based on feedback from customers that make your trainline for business account a lot easier to use, whether in the office or on the go.
Here's what's changed:
- We've made the management of your business' account, a lot slicker and intuitive, so you can spend less time booking and managing rail travel
- The ticket booking flow is now the same as Trainline.com, making it easier for you to find the cheapest tickets, and save your frequent journeys for future bookings
- Most importantly, you and your team can now access the business account on the Trainline app enabling business travellers to skip Qs with mobile tickets, find alternate trains easily when that meeting overruns, and find seats on the train
Effortless account management:
We've made the entire admin console, slicker and more intuitive to use, so business account administration is easier and quicker to do.
Business trips booked by everyone can now be easily viewed in a central dashboard as soon as you log in, and you can download monthly reports to analyse your rail spend across travellers and teams.
All your account tools are now easily accessible in the left-hand side tab, from where you can add your entire team to your business account, set up billable departments and events using cost centres and access your Diners statement account.
Slicker ticket booking experience:
The end to end booking experience has been upgraded and is now similar to the Trainline.com experience. You can quickly search across all tickets and routes, save your favourite journeys, and very easily find the cheapest tickets for your trip.
We have also made it very easy to capture all passenger and travel information, so that your monthly report has all the details you need to track business wide spend.
Hassle-free journeys:
You can now access your business account on the Trainline App! It's business on the most downloaded rail app!
With the Trainline app, you get:

- Stay on track with platform and departure notifications

- Hunt for that elusive empty seat with BusyBot
